I live with my hubby and three little people, in Wexford. Whenever I’m not chasing after my kids, dog or horses in the fields next to us, I am creating something wild and natural in my workshop just off our house.
I studied Industrial Design in college and I have always loved making things with my hands. The workshop section of the course was definitely one of my favourite parts. I worked for Harvey Nichols Display Team in Birmingham and that’s where I discovered my interest in window display.
When I moved back to Ireland I opened a ladies clothing boutique with my sister in-law. There we focused a lot on window displays and I soon discovered that I preferred working in the window and being creative more than I did selling clothes.
After we had our third child I decided to get back into display. I did a couple large scale dried flower installations and that’s where my love affair with dried flowers began. I love incorporating my love for design with flowers and foliage and creating pieces of art that people can have in their home for years to come.
